Zeitzoff Law Files Personal Injury Lawsuit Against American Airlines
After Overhead Bin Opens During Landing and Injures Passenger

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Zeitzoff Law filed a civil action in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against American Airlines arising from personal injuries suffered by its client during a domestic commercial flight.
The lawsuit alleges that the client was injured when an overhead bin flew open during landing and luggage fell from the compartment and struck the client. The complaint asserts that the incident resulted from unsafe conditions in the passenger cabin and a failure to ensure that overhead compartments were properly secured.
According to the complaint, the client sustained personal injuries and required medical evaluation and treatment following the incident.
“This matter involves an in-flight safety failure that occurred at a critical phase of flight,” said David Zeitzoff, founder of Zeitzoff Law. “Passengers are entitled to expect that overhead compartments are properly secured, particularly during landing when movement and impact forces are foreseeable.”
